I just got through hell week and *whew*!!!
Everything was like a fast forwarded movie where everything is a blur and I'm just glad that it's all over. Needless to say, it was all tiring and stressful. But I don't use the word stressful much so... it was all WORK.
I can't really say that it's the school's or the professor's fault that i was at a dilemma this past week, it was mine. I did my project, like always, at the last minute. Then I realized, Hey, I'm at this point in my life wherein every decision will dictate to a consequence, and I decided that i needed to change. Change in a way that will establish a character in me, a character which i never took seriously. I started to see and realize that if I did not start changing NOW, it will be harder to walk away from the habits of the past later.
Even before, I was lazy as hell. I never did a project a week before submission and I never studied days before an exam. I tried to plan ahead but it was all in vain, like a passing thing that I forget the day after. So, I started last week, with a motivation in my mind that says "if you don't do it today, you're never going to" and "what you do now with your life will be who you are in the future".
We had a project for the Prelims, it was a floorplan and 4 elevations of a room which needed to be passed the MOnday after, all inked and rendered. I drafted the plan, ahead of schedule and was quite pleased with myself. The days after that weren't as fruitful and again, I began to be succumbed by my old ways: tv and reading and computer. The weekend was my turning point, I needed to do something or I'll have a really unsatisfying mark...again. It was too late by then, all I can do was compromise and finish my plate (project). When I passed it on Monday, i was relieved that it was all done, and at the same time with the new resolve that I was gonna make things better from then on.
So here I am, starting again. Reaching deep within me to have the ability to stick to my decision and begin changing for the betterment of me. I have high hopes for myself. I also pray that I remember that the Lord is there to be my strength, and that I have people who can help me be who I can be.
This is me, Dianne, sharing a confession and a decision, hoping to stand by it while it counts.

an update.
whoa. i just felt like blogging tonight: keeping in mind that i have projects (schematics, concept board, etc.) to finish. anyway, since i felt like it, hindi ko na papalampasin.
today, instead of continuing to work for my strenuous project, one which we don't feel like doing anymore (thanks to the upcoming xmas holidays), i went with my mom to shop with her at malls like 168, meisic mall, etc. she was supposed to buy gifts for her officemates and such, due to my father suggesting that there can be more stuff (that are cheap) which we can find there, and although nabili ng mom ko ang gifts na purpose nya tlaga, we ended up buying stuff for ourselves nadin. don't we all? haha. i mean, seriously, laging we end up buying for our own hindi-mapakali-at-bibili-parin-talaga-para-sa-sarili-selves.
as a result, instead of spending my time admiring the things that we bought, i find myself suuuuper guilty. i am not going to waste time writing why because i know that all ye people have common sense and can probably figure out what i am saying. u'all can, can't u?:P haha.
complaints: bakit pa kasi ang dami-dami biglang pinaghahahabol na pagawa ng ating mga dakilang propesor sa atin, ngayong di naman nila naisipan na ibigay satin lahat ng impormasyon na ating kakailanganin? sa tingin ba nila ay ganoon kadali bumitaw sa kapit ng katamaran ang mga batang na katulad natin? --- hay. words of a student like me. haha.
joke lang joke lang. fine. (napilitan?) i promise to do my best for my work and to improve on my attitude, blahblah. HAHAHA!
so this is probably a useless blog entry but at least na-satisfy ko uli yung urge ko diba?
i will probably NOT finish but i will really work hard to at least make it halfway through my work. hm..asa pa. pero...

TOO much PLateS!!
raaarrr! for our VPT (Visual Presentation Technique) class, we havta do 9 (N-I-N-E) plates! grabeh! ang dami agad. we havta do it free-hand, which is the 'good' part. im sooo in the "artist's block" lane right now. helllp! haha. well..kaya ko toh!:p
note: plates are drawings to be passed done in oslo paper (or any paper dat is)
anyway, earlier, for our 7am to 12pm class, our prof informed us that she wasn't gonna be there. meaning...? FREE TIME!! whew! sobra noh? got to sleep later than usual uli. haha
we had English 101 knina, and we learned (u could say reviewed) about the basics ulit. i mean, we had capitalization and use of punctuation. next week we're to have kinds of verbs, and affixes/root words. sisiw pa. for now. but i DO think she will be giving challenging quizzes (which we WILL have on our next meeting), haha! hope to learn from her more about english!
malamig knina sa room. aint complaining. i shouldnt. kasi, paglabas naman ng building, the freakin' temperature turned UP instantly. ang humid and ang init! grrr. hehe =P
and then...we took a "car pool"!! wheeee...!! haha! from Beato to... the CArPArk! (thanks RoRo!!^^) mga tamad na kasi kami to walk all the way there.
on the way home, with Megan this time (she's gonna visit her school - Chang KAi), we made a stop to "ministop" (nagrhyme noh?:P), and bought their 'cafe latte' icecream. kahit na it was kinda lusaw na, delicious padn! haha.
the jeepney ride was okay, cause it wasnt TOO hot T_T
but then...
it RAINED.
this is where the tragic story begins. (LOL!)
the rain wasnt just any other rain, the ones where i can say, "yay. i came prepared with an umbrella and all". nooo... this rain was HARD. sooo HARD that you could have the umbrella so on top of your body and water still cling to you like it doesnt have anywhere else to go. (okay, ang corny na ng cnsbi ko.) ang masasabi ko lang - walang kwenta ang payong sa lakas ng ulan kanina.
pagdating namin sa ChangKai area, the rain stilled for a little while. i called my dad, hoping for a ride home but he was nowhere near the place. Megan offered me a ride, since she was going the same way, and quite frankly, i was only too glad to accept. haha! so i met her family, ang dami nila! ang yay! i made it! hihi! (much thanks to Megan :D)
gosh. paguwi, i ate my 'egg and cheese' combination and immediately went to shower! ang lagkit ko! waaah...haha!
havta do my Theology assignment pa. but i dont have my bible! thanks to my negligent brother who stole my bible. still. Wuzzy has come to save the day! (thank u uli Wuzzy^^) now i hav it all done.
note: Wuzzy is Enrico :p (heyah :D)

my week..so far
whew! had my second session for PE today. it is SO tiring. haha! kk lng nmn, not that much, pero considering the things we needed to do and accomplish, i think now we deserve the rest.
so..as ive said, physical fitness ang pe ko. kanina, we did curl-ups/sit-ups, push-ups, sit and reach and 50m-sprint; like the PFT (physical fitness test) in highschool. earlier i did more than a hundred sit-ups and more than 50 push-ups. kht na anu pa sabihin ng kahit sino, nakakapagod un :p
anyway. during this week. we had lots of activities already. things are starting to move a little bit faster... we already did free hand drawings, did drawings using our brand new (sa ngayon T_T) T-squares, had a lot of research and lectures to deal with, etcetera.
still. with all the fun im getting IN and OUT of the room because of all my new friends, i just couldnt ask for more. paminsan, tingin ko talaga mahihirapan ako, cuz im not all that good (really >.<), pero despite all those really threatening facts, i know God will see me through.

ShoPPinG SprEE
...i wish!T_T
all i got to buy were the things that i need. ang dami! sangkatutak talaga. i guess it's really like this when you're in design and the arts. i mean, come on, ang dami talaga, and cuz i dont have my locker, i have to organize everything and bring all the things that i need, EVERYDAY.
yikes!
~oh yeah, before i went shopping i had to go to my dentist pa, missed my chorale practise pa nga eh (sorry atsi), i havta make bawi next time. hmm...~
see this, these are all the things i bought:
1. T-square - 36" (ang habaaa! and havta bring it pag kelangan. grrr. hehe)
2. triangles - 45degrees and 60-30degrees. (un malaki! ang daming kelangan na ruler noh??)
3. irregular curve/french curve - (di pa naman kelangan, but i bought it na so i wouldnt havta return. hussle pa dba??)
4. pencils - from H, HB, B, 2B, etc...(i need ALL of it. i think.)
5. tech. pens/drafting pens - .01,.03.,05 (i got the set - which has three techpens, a compass, a mechanical pen, etc - na cuz it's a lot cheaper and less fuss)
6. oslo paper - bought these but also need the 15"x20" pa.
7. scale - un parang toblerone-shaped :p
8. clearbookS - madami! kasi lahat halos ng teacher namin are giving handouts nlng. so its A MUST to have clearbooks
9. etc etc.
basta ang dami nun! sobraaa. haha! hope it'll be able to help (tlaga) in enhancing my skills though ü thankful nga ko for such blessings cuz this course is magastos and all, pero buti i could afford it kahit papano. super grateful kay Lord!:)

AssiGNmeNT daY!
haha! phenomenal event: today we were assigned to our very first assignment by our dear professor to do research about Interior Design!:) haha!
uy, all our professors were in na: we had lectures na nga eh! hehe. i am excited to learn everything about my course^^
yesterday, ive met with some highschool friends and we reunited for lunch! yay! nakakamiss super! so...happy tlga me wen i saw them :)
oh, tommie. i volunteered for the mass, where we're gonna do some actions for the song "We are Thomasians" haha! ang cool nga eh. excited ndn me for that.
anu pa ba...umulan ngayon! fortunately, i was prepared: i had a jacket and an umbrella :p

Walk Tour Day!
we finally got around to touring big UST. although i am a "walk" person, the whole tour was tiiiring...(-____-") today, like any other day these last few days, were hot. i repeat for the nth time, MAINIT. as in i was sweating like mad.
the whole plan was to meet at the CFAD (College of Fine Arts and Design) lobby at 7am, and dahil punctual kaming lahat, tropa na kaming nakatambay sa pavillion ng cfad.T_T unlike us though, the whole thing didn't even start until it was nearly 9am! luckily i have a kakwentuhan (tnx Raiza :p), nabitin pa nga ako at first eh. anyway, everyone was complaining at how humid and hot the air was, even to the point of wishing for rain.
masaya naman ang mga tour guides namin na upperclassmen, they were all kalog and game.^^ sabi pa nga nila dapat hyper din kami, haha!
oh and we got our freebies na pala! Yay! haha! there's a bag - customized for USTe students, and then there were pamphlets inside it, meron din pin ng cfad! whee!! haha!
umikot kami sa ust and talagang sooobrang laki nito, kung san-san kami napunta:
1. swimming pool - ang laki! i wanted to jump na nga eh, para malamig :p
2. gym (IPEA - Institute of Physical Education and Athletics - where the "tigers" practice
3. Santisimo Rosario Parish Church - the chapel in ust
4. the library - where you can find any books you need (daw)
5. the commerce building - it speaks for itself
6. the medicine building - wherein kung gusto daw namin makakita ng madaming dugo, dito daw kmi punta (sssshh)
7. the carpark - where the cars are parked (duh) plus madaming food stalls
8. educ bldg, engineering bldg, ETCETERA...~~
dami pa! whew! kakapagod un lahat...X_x
after lunch, we had an orientation pa, the whole CFAD building were in it: Painting, Advertising Arts, Industrial Design, Interior Design.
sa sobrang pagod ko, i spent the whole of the movie presentation...--- sleeping. grabeh! haha!
everything ended at 330pm and i went straight to Hope Christian High School to visit a friend whose birthday is today.^^ (everybody, greet LARA!=D) hehehe!
so...all in all, bangag ako. bukas kaya, magaaral na kami? will it be a normal day for us?
grabeh...di na ko makapagisip...zzzZZZZzzzzz.... . . . . . . . . . . .
